Inventory Query
Purpose To provide an easy method to search the serialized inventory database for boat, motor, trailer, and other item serial numbers. The user can specify the search criteria and the system will display the item(s) found. The user can also print stock cards for selected items.
From the menu select Sales Management Inquiries, Inventory Query.
1 Boats Tab
-- Selection Criteria –-
- Location – Select the desired location from the pulldown list.
- Vendor – Enter the vendor number for this query; you can also type the vendor’s name preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list. Leave blank to search on all vendors.
- Model – Enter the model number for this query; you can also type part of the model number preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list of model numbers. Leave blank to search on all models.
- Year – Enter the Year.
- Model Type – Enter the Model Type for this query. The description for the type automatically fills in to the right of the type.
- Minimum Size – Enter minimum unit size.
- Maximum Size – Enter maximum unit size.
- Max Price – Enter maximum price.
- Class – Enter the Class code for this query.
- Color – Enter the color for this query. Leave blank to search on all colors.
- Type – Select the type of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are New, Used, Brokerage, Demo, Floor Model, and Other.
- Length – Enter the length in feet and inches (e.g. 12’5 for twelve feet five inches).
- Sleep Capacity – Enter the sleeping capacity (number of persons).
- Status – Select the status of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are On Hand Available, On Hand Sold, On Order Available, On Order Sold, Future Available, Future Sold, Sold, Sold and Delivered, and Reserved.
- Date Type – Select the type of date from the pulldown list. The choices are Date Sold, Date Ordered, Date Received, Date Shipped, Date Delivered, Date Written, Interest Start Date, Initiation Date, Due Date, Release Date.
- Begin Date – Enter Begin Date.
- End Date – Enter End Date.

If a model is selected for which there are options, this grid will fill out automatically.
- Option – Option ID.
- Description – Option Description.
- Selected – Check this box to search serialized inventory items that have the accessories for the model chosen.
-- Stock Card Layout/Document –-
- Stock Card Layout – Defaults to the Stock Card Layout Defined in the Print Layout section of the Operational Options tab of Boat Sales Parameters. Press F6 or click the List F6 link in the Command Panel to see a list of layouts.
- Word Document – Enter a Word document file name or click the Browse button to browse to a Word document for printing the selected units in the Items grid.
- Save as List – Enter a list name to save a list of the items found by the query.

- On Hand Available – Fluorescent Green.
- On Order Available – Light Blue.
- Sold Delivered – Magenta.
- Future Availability – Yellow.
- Pending Deal – Gray.
- On Hand Sold – Light Orange.
- On Order Sold – White.
- Reserved – Blue.
- Sold – Red.

When the Update button is clicked this grid fills in automatically with the following information.
Drag a column header to the gray area above the column header row to group units by that column.
- Selected – Check this box to print the stock card for this unit.
- Code – This is the unit ID number.
- Vendor Name – Name of Vendor for this unit.
- Model Number – Unit Model Number.
- Year – Unit Year.
- Serial Number – Unit Serial Number.
- St – Inventory item status.

- Select All – Click this button to select all items in the grid.
- Unselect All – Click this button to de-select all items in the grid.
- Maximize Grid – Click this button to resize grid to fit entire form.
- Minimize Grid – This is the default grid size. After clicking Maximize Grid button, click Minimize Grid button to return grid to its default size.

Click the Update button to update the Item grid with the results of searching on the current selection criteria.
2 Motor Tabs

- Power Type – Select the Power Type from the pulldown list. The choices are Inboard, Outboard, I/O, Electric, Jet, and Diesel. Leave blank to search on all power types.
- Minimum HP – Enter the Minimum HP for this query.
- Maximum HP – Enter the Maximum HP for this query.
- Max Price – Enter the Maximum Price for this query.
- Class – Enter the Class code for this query.
- Type – Select the type of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are New, Used, Brokerage, Demo, Floor Model, and Other.
- Shaft Length – Enter the Shaft Length in feet and inches (e.g. 15’4 for 15 feet 4 inches).
- Power Trim – Check this box for motors that have power trim capability.
- Electric Start – Check this box for motors that have electric start capability.
- Status – Select the status of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are On Hand Available, On Hand Sold, On Order Available, On Order Sold, Future Available, Future Sold, Sold, Sold and Delivered, and Reserved.
- Date Type – Select the type of date from the pulldown list. The choices are Date Sold, Date Ordered, Date Received, Date Shipped, Date Delivered, Date Written, Interest Start Date, Initiation Date, Due Date, Release Date.

- Max Price – Enter the Maximum Price for this query.
- Boat Vendor – Enter the trailer vendor number for this query; you can also type the vendor’s name preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list. Leave blank to search on all vendors.
- Boat Model – Enter the trailer model number for this query; you can also type part of the model number preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list of model numbers. Leave blank to search on all models.
- Boat Year – Enter the Boat Year.
- Class – Enter the Class code for this query.
- Color – Enter the color for this query. Leave blank to search on all colors.
- Type – Select the type of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are New, Used, Brokerage, Demo, Floor Model, and Other.
- Power Winch – Check this box for trailers that have a power winch.
- Length – Enter the trailer Length in feet and inches (e.g. 24’5 for 24 feet 5 inches).
- Width – Enter the trailer Width in feet and inches (e.g. 8’6 for 8 feet 6 inches).
- Axles – Enter the number of Axles.
- Axles Braked – Enter the number of Axles Braked.
- Status – Select the status of unit from the pulldown list. The choices are On Hand Available, On Hand Sold, On Order Available, On Order Sold, Future Available, Future Sold, Sold, Sold and Delivered, and Reserved.
- Date Type – Select the type of date from the pulldown list. The choices are Date Sold, Date Ordered, Date Received, Date Shipped, Date Delivered, Date Written, Interest Start Date, Initiation Date, Due Date, Release Date.
