Stored CC error: Contract Not Found
If you get the message Contract Not Found when trying to process a stored CC, that means that either DockMaster does not have a card on file for that customer, or the CC processing system does not have a card on file for that customer.
The solution to this error regardless of the cause of it is the same:
- Delete the card on file if one exists in DockMaster, as that contract is no longer valid. Could be due to expiration issue, issue with account, data mismatch, etc. We cannot verify the data that is stored as it is encrypted for security concerns. This is true for all CC integrations.
- Contact customer in question, and ask for updated CC information to store into DockMaster.
- Store the new card into DM which will put it back into DM and into the CC processing software. If it errors out when storing it, then the error will likely tell you the issue.
Once complete try charging card again, and if issue persists try a different stored CC, which will isolate issue to the workstation - or to the card on file. If assistance is needed log a ticket to [email protected] and we will assist.
