Shipment Methods

Shipment Method Maintenance​

Purpose To enter Shipping Methods for use by the Order Entry module. A default Shipping Method can be added to a customer’s account through the Customer File; the customer’s Shipping Method will be used in Order Entry unless overridden by the clerk.

From the menu select Inventory Management, Maintenance Functions, Shipment Methods.

A list of codes will display on the screen with the first item already selected.

  • Click the Clear button to add a new code to this file.

  • Code – A Shipment Method can be alphanumeric up to ten (10) characters.

  • Description - Enter a description for this code.

  • Click the Save button to save the code.
