From the DockMaster menu, select Marina Management > Launch Management
This module gives user the ability to schedule by the following operation types: Haul-out, Launch, Launch & Retrieve, and Other. Entering a type and customer opens the "Launch Ticket". The customer's boat and slip information is automatically displayed to verify that the information is correct. If a customer has more than one boat, the user will be prompted with a list of the customer's boats to choose from.
Date and Time prompts allow the user to schedule the specifics of when to schedule the haul or launch. The comment area will give the forklift or travel-lift operator any details they may need about this particular haul or launch task. Additional comments from the customer file and account balance information can also be displayed in the Launch Management screen as well as on the printed launch ticket and reports.
The Launch Monitor allows a lift operator, manager, or any other user view the Haul & Launch Schedule. With the help of codes and colors, the user will easily see which boats need to be hauled or launched and when. The colors will help to quickly check the status of each scheduled task. For example: a red highlighted line means the task is past the time scheduled, green identifies an unretrieved launch, and blue identifies a completed task.
The lift operator or manager has several options to view the schedule; a printed version, on a large computer monitor located just inside a storage building, or even a wireless workstation and monitor on a lift.
