Refund Special Order Deposit or Remaining Deposit Balance

REFUND SPECIAL ORDER DEPOSIT or REMAINING DEPOSIT BALANCE

NOTE: Deposits may only be refunded if all parts have not been delivered.

This special order has had one part received/delivered and there is a remaining deposit balance.  The customer has canceled the last part and the deposit balance must be refunded.

 

Open Point of Sale and click on the FUNCTIONS Button

A warning will be raised that you must manually Force Close the Special Order if a part is not going to ship from the manufacturer or if the customer has canceled the order.

Click on the Special Orders Button and then Refund Special Order

Click in the Select Box and click Refund SO

The form will them populate the Total Refund Amt

Use the House Charge/AR Account Pay type Button and then click OK when the amount form opens.

Click Complete Refund
