Add An Item Discount​

Item level discounts can be added to the transaction prior to moving to the Finish / Pay form.

Item Discount Entry Form

  1. To add an item discount tap the item in the Item tape.
  2. Tap the radio button for Dollar or Percent.
  3. Tap the radio button for By Item or By Extd (Extended Amount).
  4. Tap the radio button for Retail Discount or Mfg Coupon. Note, selecting the Retail Discount option will apply the discount prior to any taxes being applied. Selecting the Mfg Coupon option will apply the Discount after any taxes have been applied.
  5. Tap in the Discount field and enter the discount amount as an amount or percent based on the selected options above.
  6. Tap OK to return to the ticket tape.
