Assign A Customer To A Sale
A customer id can be assigned to a sales transaction to utilize customer level pricing, bill to accounts receivable, ship to and purchase history tracking.
- To add a Customer ID to a ticket, tap in the Customer ID field and type in the number, or \ search on the customer last name, telephone number, boat name, or miscellaneous field information. Note to ensure proper price updating and discount levels the customer id should always be entered prior to adding items to the ticket.
- To add or edit the billing or shipping information tap the Bill To Ship To button and update the pertinent information as needed. Note this feature is not often used and is not required. Tap the Save button when complete.
- To Edit the ticket date, tax schema, or add a purchase order number, tap the Ticket Info button. Note any Purchase Order number that is entered here will automatically populate the statement description of the ticket.
- Once all information is selected proceed with adding items to the ticket.
