Lock Register

POS Lock Register​

POS allows the cash drawer to be locked at will by the clerks from the Functions ribbon on the main form. Note a parameter can be changed to set the number of minutes the Register remains unlocked after the last action see POS Sys Config to set the timeout limit.

TouchPOS Functions Ribbon

  1. To lock the register, tap the Lock Register button on the functions ribbon.
  2. The Clerk Login Form will appear, and the register will be locked.
  3. To unlock and continue transactions, enter a valid clerk id and password.
  4. The register will unlock and the transaction can be continued or a new transaction started.
