Update BMTO Inventory Price/Cost

Purpose To change price and cost information for Boat, Motor, Trailer, and Other inventory units based on Vendor, Model, Location, and/or Years.

From the menu select Sales Management, Maintenance Functions, Update BMTO Inventory Price/Cost

Unit Type - In the pull down list, select the desired type of unit. Choices are Boat, Motor, Trailer, and Other.

You can choose to fill out information for one or all of the four grids described below. The system will update Price and Cost based on grid selections. For instance, you can choose to update all Boats that have a specific vendor and a specific model (for that vendor) that are in the specified location. Click the Process button to update the price/cost for selected units.

-- Vendor Grid –-

Vendor ID – Enter the vendor number for this type of unit; you can also type the vendor’s name preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list.
Vendor Name – The Vendor Name automatically fills in when a Vendor ID is entered.

-- Model Grid –-

Model – Enter the model number for this type of unit; you can also type the model’s name preceded by a back slash "" to access a cross-reference list.
Description – The Description field automatically fills in when a model number is entered.

Location Code – Enter the location code.
Description – The Description field automatically fills in when a Location Code is selected.

Year – Enter the desired year.

-- Update Status –-

Check one of the boxes to specify which inventory item status should be updated.

All
On Hand (HA)
On Order Available (OA)
On Order Sold (OS)

-- Update Options –-

Click each one of the boxes that applies to the price(s) and/or Cost(s) to be updated.

Update Hidden Rebates

Update Hidden Discounts

Click the Process button to update price/cost for selected units.
