Work Order Transfer Basics​

Work Order Transfer allows you to take charges from one work order and move them to an Operation from another Work Order. If you find that charges have been added to the wrong work order, you can use work order transfers to move those charges to the correct work order and operation. Charges detail can be moved either individually or you can select all the charges from an operation and move them all at the same time. The system uses a color code scheme to let you know the status of the operations on the work order. Charges can be moved at any given time until the operation has been closed. Once the operation has been closed, you may not move charges.

Identify Users​

Either the Service Manager or Service Writer will use work Order Transfers. The Work Order Transfers can be password protected to keep accessibility limited.

Access​

From the menu select, Service Management, Maintenance Functions, Transfer Charges.
