- Allow marinas to get signed approval for work to be done on their boats
How It Works
- Create a work order estimate within DockMaster
- Email the estimate to get signed approval
- The marinas customer can access the estimate pdf and click a link to go sign
- Boat owner signs the estimate and approves the work.
- The marina gets an email that the signing happened.
From a created Work Order Estimate click Print:
In Service Printing, with Document Type Estimate selected, and an Estimate selected and a layout that has E-Signature on it, click the Request Signature Icon:
If the Dockmaster Clerk has Outlook enabled then an Outlook window will prompt with the attached Estimate PDF to send:
If the Dockmaster Clerk is not using Outlook then a DM EMail window will prompt with the attached Estimate PDF to send:
On send of email the boat owner will get an email with the PDF attached to view for approval:
The boat owner opens the email and see’s ***Click Here to Sign***
On click it will take them to the site to actually sign the Estimate, they click Approve to start the process:
A prompt will happen requiring their Full Name, them to check to Accept, and then need to sign Before Approve is usable:
After all Required fields are handled, Approve can be completed:
After they approve the document will add the signature to itself and notify on screen that they approved:
The marina Clerk that sent the email is then sent a Signed Estimate email and a copy of the signed estimate:
When the marina Clerk opens the Pdf they will see the signed copy:
