Service Schedule

The Service Schedule is a quick way to assign jobs to technicians using a monthly calendar. The Monthly view shows the total standard hours scheduled for each day. There are also 3 numbers (1-2-3) in the bottom right hand corner of the day block. The first number tells you the number of jobs that are opened. The second number tells you the number of jobs that are closed. The third number indicates how the number of jobs pending.

Scheduling

Technician’s work can be scheduled several different ways on the Service Scheduler. The quickest way is by using the Service Schedule Day View. Select the day you want to schedule the work by highlighting the day on the calendar. Then press the Add button from the Command Panel. By entering in the Work Order, Operation, Technician, Start date and End date, the job can be added to schedule.

View by Work Order

There are several ways to view the Service Schedule. One way is to View Schedule by Work Order. To view the work order detail for a specific day, select the View by Work Order radio button in the Command Panel. Then click on the day you want to view detail on the Calendar. The View by Work Order window is Inquiry only.

View by Operation

Another option to view the Service Schedule is by Operation. Select View by Operation by clicking the radio button from the Command Panel. Select the day in the Calendar to view the Service Schedule in Detail. All the operations for work orders in progress for the day selected will be displayed along with a color-coded status key. If you want to maintain a work order, you can select the work order by highlighting it and pressing the Enter Key or you can double click the operation in the Operation Grid.

View by Technician

Finally, the last way to view the Service Schedule is by Technician. Select View by Technician by clicking the radio button from the Command Panel. After selecting View by Technician, click the day on the Calendar to view the Service Schedule in Detail. All the jobs for each technician will appear in the display window. The jobs are color coded to give you the current status. If you want to maintain a work order, you can highlight the technician and press the Enter Key or you can double click the technician in the Technician Grid.
