LeadMaster Parameters

Lead Management Parameters​

The Lead Management parameters control the defaults for the module. The settings can be adjusted as needed.

LeadMaster Parameters Main Form

E-mail Action Code – If an E-mail is generated, this Action Code will automatically get entered into the Follow Up grid to note that an Email was sent.

Send Letter Action Code – When a Prospect Letter is generated, this Action Code will automatically get entered into the Follow Up grid for history purposes.

of Days Without Contact to Consider Prospect Idle – This is used with the Prospect Monitor to determine the number of days to consider a prospect as having "No Activity." For example, if 45 is entered here, a prospect that has had no Follow UP activity entered for 45 days or more will show up in the Prospect Monitor grid in Magenta, the color representing the status "No Activity."

Allow Predating Initial Contract – Check this checkbox if a sales person is allowed to enter an Initial Prospect Contact Date prior to the current date. Clerk Level 5 and 6 are allowed to predate the Initial Contact date regardless of this setting.

Allow Predating Follow Ups – Check this checkbox if a sales person is allowed to enter a Follow Up date prior to the current date. Clerk Level 5 and 6 are allowed to predate the Follow Up date regardless of this setting.

Multiple Locations – Check this checkbox if your company will be maintaining prospects in multiple locations. Separate Locations can be defined through Location Maintenance in the System Administration menu.

Default Lead Source – Select the default Lead Source for new prospects from the pull down list. Lead Sources are defined/maintained in Maintain Lead Source Codes on the Maintenance Functions on the LeadMaster menu.

E-mail Attachment Local Save Directory Path - Enter the path where E-mail attachments will be stored.

No Updates Between Prospect and Customer – Check this checkbox ONLY if you want to disconnect updates between a prospect and customer.

Allow Duplicate Phone Numbers – Check this box to allow more than one prospect to have the same phone number as another prospect.
