Inventory Parameters

The Inventory Control parameters control the defaults for the module, weighted ordering, non-inventory parts, default accounting etc. The settings can be adjusted as needed.

General - This group of fields contain the default operational options for the module and can be changed as needed.

General Ledger - This group of fields contain the default inventory and inventory shrinkage accounts for the module to be used if the department code has not been defined and can be changed as needed. The default operational settings have been predefined.

Ordering Weight Factors - This group of fields contain the factor settings for use by the generate recommended purchases routine to determine the quantity to order. The default factor settings have been predefined.

Print Layouts - This group of fields contain the default layouts for the module and can be changed as needed. The default layouts have been predefined.

WAV import settings - This group of options located in the top right of the form contain the operational settings for calculating the import duties, freight, etc into the WAV cost during receiving. The default settings can be changed as needed.

PO Print Settings - This group reformats the purchase order layout to print the special order comments into the purchase order comments. The default operational settings have been predefined.

Non-Inventory Parts - Part Ids defined in this list will allow use of the advanced system feature Non-Inventory Parts to be utilized for special orders and the service module.
