Inquiries [A/P]
From the DockMaster menu, select Accounts Payable > Inquiries
There are five inquiry programs available in the Accounts Payable module. These programs will only allow you to view the information; you cannot print reports or maintain files through the inquiries.
A/P Inquiry- The A/P Inquiry displays the current status of an A/P vendor. The inquiry is multi-level; the degree of detailed information that can be retrieved a specific invoice ranges from a check number that paid an invoice to the actual invoice.
A/P Transaction Inquiry - Each transaction in A/P creates a transaction number (invoices, checks, adjustments, etc.) The Journal Transaction Listing program references these numbers in the Document field on the report. This inquiry will help you determine where a transaction originated.
A/P Invoice Inquiry - The Invoice Maintenance screen is displayed to show the information entered on the actual invoice (i.e. G/L Distribution, Payment Schedule, etc.).
A/P Check Inquiry - The Check Inquiry shows all relevant information concerning an A/P check regardless of whether it was an automatic, manual, or "quick" check. The screen shows the vendor name, check amount, and all invoice numbers and amounts. The screen displays whether the check has been reconciled or not.
Vendor Inquiry - The Vendor Inquiry displays all static information pertaining to a vendor. The inquiry is simply the Vendor Maintenance screen without the ability to change information.
