Ithaca Receipt Printer Setup

Thank you for Reaching out to DockMaster Support,
You can find the steps required in order to setup the Receipt Printer Properly mentioned below, including proper layout selection
Printer Side Steps:
1- Make Sure Printer is Connected Properly to the network with the network Cable
2- Press on the Black Button next to the Network Cable port, and it should be providing the device IP over a printer paper
3- Type in the IP Provided in Web Browser to make sure it's connected ( Transact Web Page should be showing up )
4- If Web Page didn't Show up, Restart the Printer and Press and Hold on the Black Button for 15 (Actual/Exact) seconds to Reset it's network Adapter, and it should get a new IP within a minute with a print out, then repeat step 2 after 1 minute
5- If you have an automatic Cash Drawer that is support by Dockmaster, you will need to have it connected to the receipt Printer with a phone cable (RJ-12)
DockMaster Configuration and POS:
1- Close all DockMaster Applications including Secure Login
2- Do a Windows Search for "Dockmaster Configuration"
3- In Devices Tab, Type Printer Name, Select Ithaca All Models, Type IP Address (Or Select USB Port), Select Ethernet/IP/USB, then Save and Click OK ( Screenshot Attached )
4- Then In POS -> Function -> Register -> System Config -> Printer Setup
5- Type in Exact Printer name ( Could Changed), and Enable Use OPOS, then Select Exact Printer name (Applied in DM Configuration) from the Drop Down Menu
6- Click Layout Button Next to it and Confirm that all are set to _40 Instead of _Full, if not modify by selecting from file
7- If you have a Cash Drawer, Select the Printer DM Config. Name from the Drop Down Menu On the bottom Right of screen (Cash Drawer Cable should be connected to the Printer)
8- Save and then Test, by recalling an older ticket
Work Around:
You can copy the files mentioned below from a working machine to the required machine in the exact locations and the Printer Buttons are going to be showing exactly the same as the working machine ( There is another file for Pay buttons )
Printer Buttons Config:
C:\Users[USER_NAME]\AppData\Roaming\DockMaster\Config\tpos.config.xml
Notes:
- Receipt Printer Driver Installation is not required, neither should affect the process sometimes
