Pay Types

Pay Types​

The Pay Types tab contains theĀ pay typeĀ settings for the register being defined. It is important that each register be defined with pay type buttons that are applicableĀ to the location that the register resides in.

Pay Types Configuration Menu

ButtonĀ CaptionĀ - This field contains the caption for a selected button.

Button VisibleĀ - This checkbox when checked allows the button to be visible as a pay type selection.

UseĀ forĀ Stored Payment Options - This checkbox when checked will configure the button automatically to use theĀ customer's stored profile for World Pay orĀ PAYware Connect.

Item IdĀ - This field is used to add theĀ pay type id number for the selectedĀ button above when configuring the button. Note that multiple pay type id's can be defined for each button as needed.


Defining a Button

  1. From the Main screen in POS tap the Functions button.
  2. Tap the Register tab that appears on the right of the Functions screen.
  3. Tap the Register Setup button.
  4. The system Register Setup menu will appear.
  5. Tap the Pay Types tab.
  6. Select a button to define by tapping on it. Note that the focus does not change on the button, but the button text and item grid will change to represent that button's current settings.
  7. In the ButtonĀ Caption field enter a name for the button.
  8. If the button will be used for processing transactions to the customer's stored profile in WorldPay or PAYware Connect, click the checkbox Use for Stored Payment Options. If the box is checked no pay types can be entered into the pay type grid below it as the pay type defined on the customer's stored profile will be used.
  9. In the Item Id field enter the id of theĀ pay typeĀ that is being added.
