Purchase Order Printing​

Purpose To print purchase orders for Boat, Motor, Trailer, and/or Other models in your model file. In addition to information such as quantity ordered, color, and unit cost, a purchase order provides valuable information for the vendor such as shipping information and special comments.

From the menu select Sales Management, Printing, Purchase Order Printing

  • Layout – If a Boat Purchase Order layout is defined in the Print Layouts section in the Operational options tab of Boat Sales Parameters this field defaults to that layout. You can change the layout. If a default boat purchase order layout is not defined in Boat Sales Parameters, press F6 or click List F6 link in the Command Panel to see a list of all DockMaster layouts. If you want to print a purchase order or a stock card choose the layout from the list.
  • Layout Package – To enter a Layout Package the Layout field must be blank. Press F6 or click List F6 link in the Command Panel to see a list of all DockMaster layouts. Layout Packages are defined and maintained in Layout Package Maintenance on the File Maintenance menu.
  • File Name – Defaults to the file for the selected layout or layout package. For instance, the Boat Purchase Order layout DM.VS.PO uses the BPO (Boat Purchase Order) file.
-- Item Grid –-​

Items are selected based on the file that the selected layout uses. To select all items leave this grid blank.

  • Item ID – Enter the item ID based on the file in the File Name field (e.g. Sales Contract Number if BSC file, B/M/T/O Purchase Order Number if BPO file, etc.). You can print for multiple items by adding each item to the end of the grid. Leave blank to print the layout for all items in the file.
  • Description – Defaults to the description for the chosen item(s).

  • Item List – Enter a list name for items in the selected file (List of BSC items if printing Sales Contracts, List of BPO items if printing B/M/T/O Purchase Orders, etc.). Leave blank to print for all items or items selected in grid above.
