Hand Held Parameters​

The Hand Held configuration determines what the defaults are for uploading batch process files created by devices such as the AML LDX10. If you have a Falcon handheld device or other handheld data collector please contact support for additional information.

From the menu select System Administration, Configuration, Hand Held.

Hand Held Parameters​

  • Type - Choose the brand of the handheld. Generic is utilized for the AML LDX10, and M5900 and others that generate the files and move them to the PC. Only select the Percon and Symbol option if you have the legacy version (DockMaster) of these handhelds pre-2011.
  • Data File Path - The default path to the folder can be defined here, or it can be left blank and the user can browse to it each time. The files created by the AML Devices are loaded to specific folders based on the file being loaded. By design if the folder does not exist it will be created when the file is fetched.
  • Communications Port - This dropdown field is only utilized by the Percon and Symbol devices, it will not be visible if the Type is set to generic.
